Gina is a certified yoga instructor from New York, NY.

A running injury brought Gina to yoga in 2004. Barely able to touch her toes, she began to practice once or twice a week to help keep away injury but quickly noticed the calming effect the practice had on her. It wasn't until Gina began a stressful career in Cancer Research that she found the true beauty of the practice - and she found herself on her mat more and more...and more.  Five years later, Gina left the medical world, signed up for a yoga teacher training, and never looked back.

Gina received her 200 Hour Certification with Pure Yoga in NYC under the guidance of Kay Kay Clivio and Yogi Charu. She then went on to complete a 100 Hour Ashtanga Yoga Certification with Pure Yoga, studying under the guidance of Scott Harig. Gina continues to grow her practice and expand her studies, having added Inferno Hot Pilates, meditation, and kids yoga to her ever-growing list of certifications.

As a yoga instructor, Gina helps clients learn to love and honor their physical space by guiding them through thoughtful postures and sequences. Gina believes that yoga is for everyBODY and knows that a practice can be designed for anyone based on an individual’s needs, ranging from seated meditation to handstand!

Gina is a marathoner finisher (2013 NYC Marathon), 5 time half-marathon finisher, a healthy food foodie, and animal lover. Currently based in Nassau County, Long Island, she offers many classes, workshops, and privates. Reach out with any questions - see you on the mat!
